Tim Echols is founder of TeenPact, a Christian leadership school with a mission to train youth to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend their Christian faith, and engage the culture at a time in their lives when, typically, they do not care about such things. Tim has an undergraduate and two master’s degrees from the University of Georgia and has served on numerous boards including the Governor’s Office of Children and Families, CASA, and the Arlington Group. He has worked tirelessly in the pro-life movement with Care Net, the Justice Foundation, and Georgia Right to Life. Tim has also served as treasurer and spokesman for U.S. Congressman Paul Broun from Georgia’s 10th district. He is a frequent contributor to the Athens Banner Herald where he writes Op-Ed pieces about conservative politics.
This week at IMPACT 360, Tim will teach on the topic of “Politics, Authority, and Freedom” and raise awareness of a biblical understanding of authority and freedom. The objective is to use this understanding to help students thrive as good citizens and begin developing a political theory that will guide students as they engage and influence others.
