Can we really end poverty? Contrary to what you may have heard, we know how to cure poverty. The real question is why aren’t we doing it?
As Christians we are deeply committed to helping the poor. Unfortunately our good intentions don’t always translate into good outcomes for those who need it most. To put it bluntly, sometimes our helping hurts. In this lecture, Dr. Jay Richards will be sharing the ten essential principles that will end poverty.
On Tuesday evening February 25th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., Impact 360 Institute is excited to welcome Dr. Richards to our campus to kick off our spring speakers series (register to stay up to date on all of our events). A well respected scholar, Dr. Richards speaks globally on questions of economics and poverty and is the author of Money, Greed, and God: Why Capitalism Is the Solution and Not the Problem and New York Times best-selling books, Infiltrated, and together with co-author James Robison, Indivisible: Restoring Faith, Family, and Freedom Before It’s Too Late.
The good news is that a new generation is motivated to do something about poverty. This lecture will move us beyond just feeling good about helping the poor to doing good for the poor. Caring for the poor is close to the heart of God and that is why Impact 360 Institute is pleased to make this event available free to the public. We hope to see you there!
