Trusting in Him

Ahh! Brasil! We have been here a little over a week and I have already seen God working in so many ways. I wanted to share something that God is teaching me and talking with others on the team it seems to be common lesson to be learned. For someone who is very structured and wants their entire day planned without changes, adjusting to Brasil can be a real struggle. It is not a rare situation where we are unsure of what the day will hold. Plans are changed very often. For me this has not been hard to adjust to, however I am having trouble with events that are a little farther in my future. Everyone is being asked the question what are we doing after IMPACT 360? What school are you going to? What do you want to do for a living? A lot of us are still unsure and is becoming frustrating for me. I do not know where will have me next year. My sister reminded me of a verse in Proverbs 31. It talks about the Godly woman and how she can laugh at the days to come. She trusts her Savior to the extent that an unknown future is laughable. She is confident that God is in control and she allows him to take control. As we are in Brasil preparing for the next few days ahead or thinking about what the next is going to hold. I encourage everyone to take comfort in knowing that God already has the future planned and He will reveal it to us as He knows we need it. God is sovereign, and His timing is perfect.  Trust Him and He will direct your paths.

We are all thoroughly enjoying our last few days serving in Brasilia.
